Kevaughn Harvey (he/him) is a first-generation Caribbean-American actor and director of new plays, classics, and devised work. He is a native New Yorker who represents Brooklyn but was raised out in Queens. And is now a newly minted Philadelphian. The collision of cultures is the origination of his artistic joys, traumas, and idiosyncrasies. A central question in his art is “What is lost (and gained) from the mashup of ideas, cultures, and identities?” His work explores this through poetic language and rugged spectacle. He is a graduate of the Brown/Trinity Rep MFA program and Cornell University.
